Anna
Hi, my name is Anna Macleod, and I am the founder and Manging Director of Trusted Travel Buddies. I have worked in the Care sector since 2004, and since 2014 I have specialised in taking adults away on exciting, supported holidays. I am currently working towards SVQ level4 Social Services and HealthCare. During lockdown I rediscovered cycling and playing my violin. I also enjoy Pilates, hill walking, cooking for friends and family, and volunteering at local monthly discos held in the Merkinch Community centre for adults with learning disabilities.
My most memorable holiday to date has certainly been walking the Camino de Santiago in 2019. My pilgrimage began in France, in a beautiful wee village called St-Jean-Pied-De-Port. I walked over the Pyrenees mountain range, then headed west across Spain for 31 days until I reached Santiago de Compastella. However, I didn’t quite feel done there, and so walked a further 3 days to Cape Finistere. This was a life changing experience for me. The daily adventures and the friendships formed on this trip will never be forgotten, and I cannot recommend the many benefits of the Camino highly enough.

Hi, I'm Ruth Morrison and I am from Inverness where I have lived all of my life. I'm married and have three grown up children and two grandchildren.
I joined the Care Sector back in 2001 as a care at home worker, then supporting adults with learning difficuties to live in their own homes. I am registered with the Scottish Social Services Council, and have an SVQ3 in Health and Social Care.
When I have any spare time I like to meet with my family for lunch or dinner and have a good blether. I also enjoy taking my grandchildren out for a trip around the toy shops and then onto the cinema. When it's my own time, I do enjoy the odd game of Bingo!
I have supported a number of clients on holiday all over the UK and have done a fair bit of travelling myself, such as France, Spain, Italy, America and Australia. Whilst in Australia I enjoyed a cruise to Fiji and was totally blown away with the beautiful scenery. When in America I spent three days in San Francisco, so it is a must to go back again.
